Job Summary
The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies, materials, and services required for company operations. The role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management capabilities, and sound knowledge of the local Pakistani market to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services from local vendors across Pakistan.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods to avoid operational disruptions.
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Conduct supplier evaluations based on quality, pricing, service, and reliability.
- Resolve vendor-related issues regarding deliveries, quality concerns, and payments.
- Maintain an updated vendor database and supplier performance records.
Cost Control & Compliance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality standards.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supplier developments.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approved budgets.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate procurement documentation.
Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse and user departments regarding stock requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment processes as required.
- Ensure accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory movements.
Reporting
- Prepare procurement reports, purchase summaries, and cost analysis reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, quotations, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Provide regular updates on procurement status and supplier performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience in the local Pakistani market.
- Experience in FMCG, Dairy, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of local supplier networks and procurement practices.
