Procurement Executive and Storekeeper

Key Responsibilities of Procurement Executive and Storekeeper=

Inventory & Store Management

  • Maintain accurate stock records for ingredients, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular stock verification and implement FIFO/FEFO/LIFO where applicable.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Prepare monthly stock reconciliation reports and assist in audits.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Verify purchase requisitions and ensure stock availability before raising POs.
  • Prepare POs with approvals in ZOHO Books (or ERP) and maintain documentation.
  • Evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing and delivery, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Track pending orders and coordinate with chefs and instructors for timely supply.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare stock and procurement reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls.
  • Assist in forecasting requirements and controlling costs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Hotel/Culinary Management, or related field.
  • Experience in procurement, inventory management, or stores (preferably in culinary, hospitality, or education).
  • Knowledge of inventory systems/ERP tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
