Role Overview
The
Procurement Manager – IT
is responsible for leading
category management and strategic sourcing
for IT-related procurement. The role focuses on optimizing procurement performance, driving cost savings, managing supplier relationships, and aligning procurement strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement category management plans aligned with long-term procurement strategies.

Lead cost optimization initiatives (e.g., supplier rationalization, contract renegotiation).

Manage RFx processes, tenders, and award recommendations.

Oversee supplier relationships and performance via SLAs and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to balance cost, quality, and delivery.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and monitor regulatory changes.

Track and report procurement performance metrics.

Forecast pricing and monitor market trends and inflationary environments.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field.

Certifications: CIPS or CPP preferred.

Experience: 8+ years in procurement/category management with a proven track record in strategy execution and supplier management.
