Procurement Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and financial goals.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, purchase order management, and supplier relationship management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize procurement processes and reduce expenses.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier capabilities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and finance teams, to understand procurement needs and priorities.
- Provide leadership and direction to the procurement team, including mentoring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing procurement activities.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.
