Job Summary:
The F&B Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food, beverages, and related supplies while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. The role requires strong supplier management, market knowledge, and coordination with operations, finance, and kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for food, beverage, and non-food items.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best quality, price, and terms.
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Ensure consistent supply of approved items to all outlets without disruption.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and availability of F&B products.
- Coordinate closely with chefs, operations, and finance teams to align purchasing with menu and budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and local regulations.
- Control procurement costs and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Oversee inventory levels to minimize wastage, shortages, and overstocking.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, with strong F&B background.
- Experience in hotels, restaurant groups, or catering companies preferred.
- Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality standards, and local market sourcing.
