Procurement Manager – Shared Services
Location: Islamabad

Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field from HEC-recognized university
Experience: 6–10 years (with at least 3 years in a managerial role within procurement/supply chain, preferably in a shared services or investment group setup)
Age: 30–40 years
Position Overview
The Procurement Manager – Shared Services will be responsible for leading and managing all procurement operations for the investment company and its group entities. The role requires strong expertise in vendor management, cost optimization, contract negotiations, compliance, and governance, while ensuring timely and efficient sourcing of goods and services across multiple business units.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Procurement & Planning
- Develop and implement the company’s procurement strategy, policies, and SOPs aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead category management for diverse requirements (IT, corporate services, facilities, capital goods, professional services, etc.).
- Forecast procurement needs and prepare annual procurement plans for group companies under shared services.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and payment terms to optimize cost and value.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers while mitigating supplier risks.
Operational Excellence
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitions, RFQs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolving bottlenecks and minimizing procurement cycle times.
- Oversee procurement documentation, tendering, and approval processes in compliance with internal audit and governance requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure smooth procurement execution and accurate cost allocation.
Cost Optimization & Compliance
- Implement cost-saving initiatives, vendor consolidation, and process automation in procurement.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting procurement activities.
- Ensure full compliance with procurement laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Mitigate risks in procurement processes by ensuring transparency, ethical practices, and governance.
Leadership & Reporting
- Lead and mentor a procurement team, ensuring skill development and performance excellence.
- Report key procurement KPIs, savings, and compliance status to senior management.
- Drive digital transformation of procurement through ERP and e-procurement tools.
Required Skills & Competencies
