Procurement Officer

Procurement Officer:

Crusteez is seeking a motivated Procurement Officer to join our Procurement & Warehouse department. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage vendor relationships while ensuring cost-effective and timely purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase materials by visiting local and regional markets to assess vendors and product availability.
• Evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and quality.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse for stock replenishment.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers and new product opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, warehouse) to align procurement with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasing.
• Experience in the bakery or retail industry will be a plus.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
