Procurement Manager - Steel Products & Fabrication

Key Responsibilities

Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in steel products and fabrication.

· Strong knowledge of steel grades, fabrication materials, and industry standards.

· Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

· Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

· Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and procurement software

· Develop and implement procurement strategies for steel products, raw materials, and fabrication services.

· Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.

· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure the best value without compromising quality and timelines.

· Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor their performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

· Manage the end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and delivery follow-ups.

· Monitor market trends in steel and raw materials, including price fluctuations, to support strategic decision-making.

· Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to forecast demand and ensure timely supply of materials.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, budget requirements, and procurement best practices.

· Implement inventory control measures to avoid shortages or excess stock.

· Prepare and maintain procurement reports, cost analysis, and supplier performance evaluations.

· Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and vendor management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
