Procurement Officer

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Head Office

Experience: Min 3 years

Education: Pharm-D or Above

Role and Responsibilities

  • Generation of NA and short supply items letter/certificate for branches
  • Initiation of POs and adjustment minute sheets for warehouse stocks/invoices
  • Development of comparative data of generics & oncology medicines to get max benefits from already available discounts on approved companies in MH, CMHs & AFIs.
  • Identify items with less margins and report to AM, SM & Dir. Procurement for further necessary action and aid in sourcing process.
  • Identification of Companies/vendors to be added in negotiation list based on their demand & consumption
  • Making efforts to get better margins of companies already added in MedAsk’s procurement list and are providing medicine on TP or with less margins on TP
  • Documentation/Record keeping of necessary data
  • Letters and replies
  • NA & short supply items data
  • Drafting of MOUs, Agreement & different reports etc.
  • Comparative reports
  • Alternatives, Generic & brands comparative data
  • Quotations and authority letters
  • Official meeting notes with companies and CMHs, AFIs and MH authorities.
  • Other Miscellaneous documentation as per requirement
  • Mailing & replies to different pharmaceutical companies & distributors
  • Follow up of companies for quotations, margin & distribution etc.
  • Supervision of tasks being performed by procurement DEOs
  • Analysis of finalized POs received from Ops branch and do correction at procurement level when required ( rates, margins, bonuses)
  • Collection of daily POs status of previous day and weekly status of POs for whole weeks and timely intimate the issues with supplies to AM/SM/Dir. Procurement on daily basis
  • Review the report of undelivered items and analyze/report the reason for non-delivery
  • Report the list of Outlets not sending daily undelivered items report
  • Any other task given by the AM, SM or Director like working on slow and dead of outlets, reports writing and mails writing etc.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Pharm-D or equivalent
  • 2-3 Years of relevant experience

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
