We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end activities within our supply chain, focusing on purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and logistics, with the ability to implement processes that maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage activities related to purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, and receiving.
- Select optimal transportation routes to maximize economic efficiency by consolidating shipments and warehousing.
- Define and implement performance metrics for evaluating supply chain factors, such as product cost and quality.
- Develop and implement improvements in supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Forecast material costs and develop standard cost lists.
- Meet regularly with suppliers to discuss performance, provide feedback, and address any production forecasts or changes.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes in supply chain activities and predict their impact.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, supply chain processes, and relevant software.
- A BBA, MBA, or MS degree from a reputed university, with a specialization in Supply Chain Management/Logistics.
