Procurement Officer

Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities across projects and operations, ensuring timely sourcing, cost control, compliance with company procedures, and effective coordination with finance and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle procurement of materials, services, and rentals for projects and operational requirements

· Issue, track, and follow up on purchase requisitions, RFQs, and purchase orders

· Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to obtain competitive quotations

· Prepare vendor comparisons and evaluations in line with company policies and approval requirements

· Follow up on deliveries, lead times, and compliance with specifications and agreed terms

· Coordinate closely with the Finance team on PO issuance, budgets, invoice matching, and payment follow-ups

· Maintain accurate procurement records, trackers, and documentation for audit and reference

· Support vendor registration, documentation, and compliance requirements

· Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and approval matrices

· Provide general procurement support to operations and project teams as required

Candidate Profile & Requirements

· Proven hands-on experience in procurement of materials and services

· Experience managing multiple procurement requests across projects

· Good understanding of procurement controls, documentation, and approval workflows

· Strong coordination skills with operations, finance, and internal stakeholders

· Experience in vendor handling with basic negotiation exposure

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment

· UAE-based procurement experience is mandatory

· Industry exposure preferred: Oil & Gas construction, logistics, industrial, or contracting environments

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field

- Professional certification in Procurement / Supply Chain (CIPS, CPP, or equivalent) is an advantage

- Strong working knowledge of UAE procurement practices and vendor markets

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and office equipment, experience with ERP systems is preferred

- Based in office, with regular office hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
