Job Summary
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for interior fit-out and joinery production projects. The role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with project specifications and company standards. The candidate must be bilingual (Arabic & English).
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Sourcing

Source and procure materials such as wood, MDF, veneers, laminates, hardware, glass, finishes, and fit-out accessories.

Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and subcontractors.

Obtain quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and recommend cost-effective options.
2. Vendor Management
-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Communicate effectively in both Arabic and English with vendors and stakeholders.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality standards are met.
3. Purchase Order Management

Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with project requirements.

Track orders and ensure timely delivery to factory or site.

Coordinate with warehouse, production, and project teams.
4. Cost Control & Budgeting

Prepare the procurement budge.

Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
-
Work closely with design, estimation, and production teams to understand material specifications.

Support project managers in meeting deadlines and procurement schedules.
6. Inventory & Logistics
-
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.

Arrange logistics and delivery schedules to avoid delays.
7. Compliance & Documentation
-
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and contract requirements.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and approvals.

Prepare procurement reports and correspondence in both Arabic and English when required.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

3–5 years of procurement experience in
fit-out, joinery, or construction industry
.

Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, and hardware.
-
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (Excel, ERP systems preferred).

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
