Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer – Fitout to manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor coordination for interior fitout materials including joinery, gypsum, glass, hardware, finishes, and MEP-related items. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of fitout materials, supplier networks, and UAE market pricing to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for fitout materials such as joinery, wood, laminates, gypsum boards, ceiling systems, flooring, glass, hardware, and finishes
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier contracts
• Coordinate closely with project managers, designers, and site teams to meet material requirements and delivery schedules
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and quality compliance
• Ensure materials meet approved drawings, specifications, and project standards
• Track procurement budgets and support cost-control initiatives
• Manage logistics, delivery schedules, and site coordination for multiple projects
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and inventory tracking
• Identify alternative suppliers and value-engineering options to optimize cost and availability
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE commercial regulations

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience: 3–6 years of procurement experience in interior fitout, joinery, or construction industry (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fitout materials, finishes, and supplier market in the UAE
• Vendor Network: Established supplier contacts for joinery, glass, gypsum, flooring, and hardware is a strong advantage
• Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms
• Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP/Procurement systems and Microsoft Office
• Communication: Strong coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills
• Personal Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
