Procurement Officer – Oil & Gas Industry

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the oil and gas industry. This role involves managing purchasing activities, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement processes in compliance with company policies and industry standards
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain vendor relationships
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to meet project and operational needs
• Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and local regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in the oil and gas industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems
• Knowledge of local and international sourcing practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
