Procurement Senior Specialist

JOB PURPOSE:

The role of the Procurement Sr. Specialist is to support the procurement department and the organization in achieving their projects & requirements through following the right practices and policies of Procurement, with an emphasis on agility and rapid execution required in a very fast-paced environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Scanning for Suppliers: Ability to understand the requirements, analyze them and then conduct a market scan for all potential suppliers.
• Understanding of PR, RFx & PO Processes: To own the PR from the time of approval and take the right measures to access the appropriate RFx needed, while ensuring minimal time for delivery and maximizing efficiency of the process
• Negotiation with Suppliers: To analyze costing in coordination with the SMEs or by experience to enable the right negotiation technique and drive spending efficiency for the company
• Vendors Database Management: Maintaining the vendors database accurately, while periodically reporting updates to the management
• Supplier Relationship Management: To manage internal and external stakeholders during project, and ensure smooth deliveries and healthy relationship between the company and the supplier
• Suppliers Projects Qualification: Ability to analyze projects and requirements and mapping them with the suppliers’ capabilities. Additionally conducting post delivery analysis to measure suppliers/vendors performance

General Management:

• Prioritization skills and time management: Ability to manage responsibilities, time and priorities in accordance to the company objectives
• Stakeholders’ management: Ability to work with various team members, managing expectations and deliverables to achieve desired outcome
• Reporting and Analytical Skills: Ability to generate reports from raw data, analyze them and drive agendas for improvements
• Project Management: Ability to manage a project is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Supply Chain or Engineering degree

Years & Nature of Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Relevant experience in construction, marketing, shared services or technology procurement categories.
• Capabilities of managing category from E2E and streamlining its requirements, with demonstrable success adapting to quickly changing needs and priorities common in a very fast-paced company.
