About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Department . The job holder will be responsible for achieving cost-efficient and timely procurement of required materials, ensuring smooth project operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and communication skills, a solid background in procurement practices in the engineering or construction industry, and will uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify all material procurement requirements based on the Request for Quotation (RFQ) received from the respective department or projects.
• Issuing purchase orders for Company assets.
• Source suppliers who offer quality materials at the most cost-efficient level.
• Receive quotations and supplementary documentation regarding the supplier.
• Perform quality assurance and the necessary checks.
• Send purchase orders and finalize the supplier with the requester.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Finance department on payment to suppliers.
• Handling the approval process of the Company’s suppliers.
• Prepare Suppliers performance evaluation reports in coordination with QHSSE at the end of each year
• Undertake other procurement related functions as assigned by the Line Manager.
• Maintain, implement, and improve the BU QHSSE Management System in line with Corporate QHSSE Policies, Objectives, Manuals and Procedures, integration with business operations and ISO Standard requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001).
• Promote the QHSSE Culture to achieve best QHSSE performance that safeguards human health, operational safety, protection of the environment and resources, all while delivering world-class quality products and services.
• Report QHSSE risks and impacts, carry out assigned tasks and duties in accordance with QHSSE Standards and KPIs, and ensure their personal safety and of personnel under their authority at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Commerce, Economics, or Finance.

- 2-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.

- Advanced MS Excel and reporting skills.
