Procurement Specialist

Optomi, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is hiring a Procurement Specialist to support the procurement team. This role will focus on supplier management, purchase order oversight, and procurement reporting. The role will also support sourcing projects, manage contracts, and handle daily procurement needs.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years in procurement.
• Strong background in RFx, contract standards, and contract language.
• Experience working with IT suppliers and contracts (required).
• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Coupa experience.
• Background working with global contracts or multi-entity contracts.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the Coupa system (requisitions, purchase orders, troubleshooting, and reporting).
• Prepare procurement reports, including contract reviews and quarterly updates.
• Provide new user training and maintain SOPs and SharePoint content.
• Build RFPs, analyze proposals, and negotiate pricing/terms with suppliers.
• Oversee contracts and license agreements, including renewals and compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to complete vendor documentation and make sure requirements are met.
• Support ongoing projects, supplier management, and process improvements.
