Procurement Specialist

• Manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials with a strong focus on trading and cost optimization
• Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and long-term supply agreements
• Analyze market trends, material price fluctuations, and sourcing opportunities to maximize profit margins
• Handle bulk purchasing and resale (trading) of materials such as steel, cement, aggregates, and concrete products
• Develop and maintain a strong supplier network locally and internationally
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, and finalize suppliers based on technical and commercial terms
• Issue LPOs and ensure compliance with agreed terms and delivery timelines
• Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for smooth material movement and site delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement to avoid overstocking or shortages
• Ensure quality compliance of materials as per project specifications and standards
• Work closely with sales and project teams to align procurement with business and project needs
• Track supplier performance and resolve any supply chain or delivery issues
• Maintain accurate records of procurement, trading transactions, contracts, and invoices
• Identify new trading opportunities and contribute to business expansion and profitability
