Product Coordinator

Job description

  • Create and manage the database of vehicle model specifications
  • Collect and update information on competitor models and market trends
  • Conduct VI/VA (Value Innovation / Value Analysis) studies on all models and update on a regular basis
  • Assist in determining price positioning for current product range and deciding on future product positioning strategy
  • Create model codes and product specifications in the system; support order planning
  • Generate reports related to product and vehicle order planning as required; proactively assist in effective product planning and inventory management
  • Prepare presentations for negotiating product specifications and pricing with Principals
  • Report competitor product and pricing information as required by Management and Principals
  • Generate presentations on new models and provide all product-related support material to the Sales team
  • Generate Grade walk / Product specification sheets for the sales team
  • Conduct pricing studies on new models to be introduced to the market


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in product coordination, product planning, or a similar role (automotive industry preferred)
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, management, and external principals
