Product Development Manager – Footwear- Arabic speaker

We are looking for Arabic speaker Product Development Manager – Footwear is responsible for managing the end-to-end development of footwear products, from concept and sampling to production and market launch. The role ensures products meet design intent, quality standards, cost targets, and timelines while aligning with brand and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

• Manage the complete footwear product development cycle from concept to bulk production
• Coordinate with design, buying, and merchandising teams to translate concepts into producible footwear
• Oversee sampling, fittings, wear tests, and approvals

Costing, Pricing & Margin Control

• Develop and manage product costing to achieve target margins
• Work closely with suppliers to optimize materials, construction, and manufacturing costs
• Propose cost-saving solutions without compromising quality or design

Supplier & Production Management

• Source and manage footwear suppliers and factories (local & international)
• Negotiate MOQs, lead times, and production schedules
• Monitor production progress and resolve delays or quality issues

Quality & Technical Management

• Ensure footwear meets brand quality, comfort, and durability standards
• Review construction methods, materials, and components
• Handle quality issues, returns, and corrective action plans

Planning, Timelines & Coordination

• Develop and manage development calendars and critical paths
• Coordinate cross-functionally with logistics, QA, retail, and e-commerce teams
• Ensure on-time delivery for seasonal launches and store openings

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate tech packs, specifications, costing sheets, and approvals
• Prepare regular development and performance reports for management

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Design, Fashion, Product Development, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in footwear product development
• Strong knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Experience working with international factories (Asia preferred)
• Excellent costing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
