Job Summary

Drive the Secured & Deposits Products in line with Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) Pakistan strategy, legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive regulatory initiatives and projects.
  • Rollout global suite of standardised products in the market
  • Initiate design and development of best-in-class global product suite based on local needs by providing feedback on opportunity and co-creating globally scalable solutions with central team.
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders in WRB organisation to provide direction on market opportunities and execution upon them.
  • Build and leverage strong alliances and business partners network to crystallise differentiated brand propositions across client segments actively manage the retail balance sheet to ensure optimisation of returns.
  • Ensure balanced growth addressing operations compliance and service delivery risks.
  • Driving Product innovation and development initiatives with Group Product to meet/ anticipate needs of customers across Personal, Preferred and Priority Banking segments.
  • Work with segment teams to develop and launch cross-product bundling propositions for deepening customer relationship and brand loyalty.
  • To develop, design and manage Debit Card product features that meet client’s desired requirements and increase bank’s share of client wallet.
  • Driving the Debit Card Profit & Loss (P&L) in line with WRB Pakistan strategy, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with Marketing on product marketing and branding.
  • Work collaboratively with other business functions to enhance business opportunities through cross-sell and to resolve cross-functional operations and service issues.
  • Keep abreast of market competition, industry practices and best practices to constantly improve on overall business performance.
  • Review regular deposits Management Information System (MIS) to identify trends in portfolio movement and track against targets.
  • Active involvement with Learning academy in terms of development and execution of training programs to optimize sales and service.
  • Conduct regular portfolio performance analysis across customer base and identify opportunity for growth.
  • Identify and address customer needs and expectations and ensure programs are effectively managed for all the target segments.
  • Monitor all program results, understand consumer behaviour and take reactive and proactive measures.
  • Develop business tracking reports for various channels and also help monitoring competitor activities in the market for continuous business growth.
  • Manage relationships with business partners for smooth business dev. & project implementation.
  • Manage compliance & approval and compliance to Country Addenda.
  • Ensure management of activities in the Retail Product unit in compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.
  • Identify and recommend ways to improve the end-to-end process for the retail deposits & secured product suite with focus on quality in delivery and cycle time.
  • Ensure appropriate and adequate documentation is in place for process actions and is responsible for achieving and maintaining a satisfactory audit rating.
  • Work with all other related functions to ensure compliance with applicable money laundering prevention procedures.
  • Ensure that product and customer pricing is approved in line with delegated authorities and defined procedures.
  • Ensure that the customer complaints referred to Retail Deposits & Secured products are resolved in a timely manner.
