Job Description:
As a Production Manager for bridal couture , Lahore, you'll oversee the entire garment production process, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality execution, while managing a team and adhering to timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Production Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and customer orders.
- Manage the flow of materials and resources to ensure smooth production.
- Oversee all stages of garment production, from cutting and sewing to finishing and quality control.
- Handle sampling timelines and planning.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and motivate production staff, providing guidance and support.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate production personnel.
- Address any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure that all garments meet the required quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Address any quality issues that may arise.
- Cost Management:
- Monitor and control production costs to ensure profitability.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices for materials and resources.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of materials and finished goods.
- Ensure that materials are available when needed to avoid production delays.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with other departments, such as design and sales.
- Keep management informed of production progress and any potential issues.
- Specific to Bridal Couture:
- Understand the unique requirements of bridal couture, including intricate details, embellishments, and fit.
- Work closely with designers to ensure that production meets their vision.
- Manage the production of custom bridal gowns and other bridal wear.
Computer knowledge, Specially Excel, word and powerpoint and financial planning knowledge is a must.
