Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Engineer / Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our cast aluminum facility. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the production of high-quality aluminum gates, doors, handrails, and pergolas — ensuring that quality, efficiency, safety, and delivery targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead all aspects of production operations on the factory floor.
• Manage and schedule workflow across departments: casting, finishing, welding, assembly, painting/powder coating, and packaging.
• Coordinate with design, sales, and logistics teams to meet production deadlines.
• Monitor and control manpower distribution, material usage, and machine utilization.
• Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and followed throughout production.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace.
• Lead, train, and evaluate production staff and supervisors.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvement strategies (Lean, 5S, etc.).
• Report on production performance to senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in operations or production management, preferably in metal fabrication or cast aluminum manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of casting, welding, grinding, powder coating, and fabrication techniques.
• Experience managing a mid-sized team (30–50 employees).
• Solid understanding of production planning, costing, and workflow management.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination with multi-department teams.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP or factory management systems experience is a plus.
• Engineering or Industrial Management degree/diploma preferred.
