Production reporting to : Production/Plant Manager
Location: DIPPL Factory.
Purpose: To support the effective planning, execution, control, and documentation of production operations in order to ensure product conformity, timely order fulfilment, and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate production activities across multiple product lines to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor and adjust production schedules as necessary to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in capacity planning and line allocation to achieve production targets.
- Oversee production operations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular product inspections to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Report and assist in managing nonconforming products, including segregation, rework, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate production records to ensure batch traceability and data integrity.
- Track inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Liaise with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Optimize resource usage to minimize waste and control production costs.
- Facilitate effective communication between Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Planning teams to maintain seamless operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, 5S, and Kaizen, to enhance overall efficiency.
- Monitor production downtime and investigate root causes to reduce disruptions.
- Assist in training production staff on SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures. Support monitoring of team performance and provide constructive feedback to supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a safety-conscious culture and ensure compliance with safety protocols among production staff.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing or relevant technical field.
(Preferably BE/BS – Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent)
Experience Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in process control, quality inspection, or production planning is preferred. Good understanding of HSE culture and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal and time management skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and ISO management system will be an advantage.
