Production Incharge (Rubber Department)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Production Planning & Execution: Scheduling day-to-day production activities, including batching, molding, and curing, to meet client orders and internal targets.
  • Process Supervision: Overseeing the entire manufacturing cycle (e.g., rubber compounding, mixing, extrusion, injection molding, or calendering) to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Quality Control (QC): Maintaining strict adherence to product specifications, inspecting final products, and ensuring raw materials meet standard.
  • Equipment Management: Monitoring machinery performance (presses, mixers, extruders) and collaborating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforcing health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean working environment, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Staff Management: Supervising, training, and motivating production workers, including managing shift changes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous 5 years or more experience in rubber manufacturing, molding, extrusion, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of rubber materials, curing processes, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Leadership: Strong team management abilities and experience leading production teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to handle production issues.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for coordination between departments.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Production output vs. targets.
  • Product rejection/rework rate.
  • Machine uptime/utilization.
  • Safety compliance and accident rate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
