The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Engineer in Production Manager to join our team. In this role Lead the Operations function at local level, with full accountability running the day-to day Operation and to overachieve customer expectations through lean, faultless operational execution (Care, Customer, Cost, Cash), in an extended value chain and at the lowest total cost.
How You’ll Make An Impact

Managing overall manufacturing operations, including staff and the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process.

Implementing continuous improvement methodologies and lean principles to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Developing programs and metrics to optimize operational performance and working capital.

Recruiting, retaining, and developing high-performing teams while establishing a talent pipeline for future leaders.

Ensuring a strong customer focus and uphold high ethical standards in all operations.

Providing a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Collaborating with the ITM (Integrated Transformer Management System) team to integrate lean manufacturing principles into production processes.

Backfilling key positions and providing training and mentoring to leaders. Tackle production hurdles due to machine issues, part shortages, or personnel shortages.

Your background
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.

Proficient in operational management software and tools.

Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive engagement, and achieve high performance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations and resolve issues.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members, implementing training and development programs that enhance skills and promote career growth

Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
