Job Title: Production Manager – (PPEs Manufacturing Garments Company - Cut to Pack)

Location: KEPZ - KARACHI

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on and results-oriented Production Manager to oversee our [e.g., cut and sew / garment / assembly] manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for managing daily production activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing quality control standards to ensure our life-saving equipment meets stringent international norms. You will play a critical role in planning production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety .

Key Responsibilities:

• Production & Quality Management: Oversee the entire manufacturing process to ensure finished products are consistently produced to the highest standards of quality. Coordinate with the Quality Manager to enforce quality control policies and ensure compliance with PPE regulations.
• Operational Efficiency: Plan and organize production schedules on daily, weekly, and monthly bases to achieve 100% capacity utilization and on-time shipment goals. Monitor workflow to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce waste .
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 5S methodology. Analyze manufacturing methods and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs .
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, including supervisors and line workers. Manage shift rotations, conduct performance reviews, and foster a positive, transparent, and collaborative team environment .
• Safety & Compliance: Champion a "Safety First" culture. Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and that all team members consistently wear required PPE. Maintain a clean, organized, and GMP-compliant work environment .
• Inventory & Resource Management: Manage raw material inventory, coordinate with supply chain and merchandising teams, and ensure materials are organized for each stage of processing .
• Reporting & Analysis: Track production metrics, maintain accurate records (output, scrap rates, downtime), and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and report to top management .

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant vocational training or equivalent experience will be considered.
