Production Manager - Smart accessories

Key Responsibilities – Production Manager

Production Planning & Control

• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in line with sales forecasts.
• Ensure timely production of smart accessories such as earbuds, chargers, cables, power banks, wearables, and related products.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales to align production with demand.
• Monitor production output, cycle times, and capacity utilization.

Manufacturing Operations

• Oversee SMT, assembly lines, testing, packaging, and final dispatch operations.
• Ensure smooth workflow across all production stages.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve throughput.
• Ensure optimal use of manpower, machinery, and materials.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and certifications.
• Implement and monitor quality control checks, SOPs, and inspection processes.
• Address quality issues, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to reduce rejection and rework rates.

Cost & Efficiency Management

• Control production costs, wastage, and scrap.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs such as yield, efficiency, downtime, and rejection rates.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, supervise, and mentor production supervisors, engineers, and operators.
• Assign tasks, set performance targets, and conduct evaluations.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and productivity on the production floor.

Vendor & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with OEM/ODM partners, component suppliers, and service vendors.
• Support new product development (NPD), pilot runs, and mass production ramp-up.
• Collaborate with R&D/Engineering for design improvements and manufacturability.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and factory safety standards.
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and audit readiness.
