Production Manager (Steel)

Job Description

Atovee Steel Construction & Contracting LLC is seeking a Production Engineer (Steel) with hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication and production management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring fabrication activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with engineering specifications.

This role is critical in bridging engineering drawings with shop-floor execution, ensuring efficiency, safety, and precision throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily steel fabrication and production activities.
• Coordinate with design, project, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Interpret structural steel drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOQs.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of fabrication works.
• Ensure materials, manpower, and machinery are effectively utilized.
• Maintain strict quality control in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate inspections, fit-ups, welding, and finishing processes.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety standards.
• Identify production challenges and implement process improvements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production progress reports.
• Coordinate with procurement for material availability and planning.
• Support factory audits, quality inspections, and client visits when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of UAE experience in structural steel fabrication or production.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, welding, and shop drawings.
• Experience working with production schedules and fabrication planning.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, QA/QC procedures, and HSE practices.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
