Schedule: 2nd Shift – Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to safely meet production, quality, and delivery goals. As a working supervisor, this role provides hands-on leadership for production employees, ensures effective utilization of labor and equipment, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Supervisor serves as a visible leader on the floor, promoting safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Reports To: Operations Manager / Maintenance Manager
Supervises: Lead Operators and Production Employees
Collaborates With: Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, EHS, Warehouse, and Human Resources

Lead and supervise all production activities on assigned shift to meet production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations.

Plan, coordinate, and assign work to ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials.

Serve as a role model for safety by enforcing all safety policies and addressing unsafe conditions.

Monitor production metrics including output, quality, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency.

Train, coach, and mentor employees through regular feedback and performance discussions.

Address employee relations issues in accordance with company policies.

Maintain accurate shift reports, timekeeping, and system transactions.

Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to support equipment reliability and process improvement.

Drive continuous improvement through Lean and Kaizen initiatives.

Maintain housekeeping and workplace organization standards.

Develop and train backup or successor leadership candidates.

Learn and demonstrate competency on all machines within a six-month timeframe

Responsible for operating equipment and supplying break relief when required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience: 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with leadership exposure preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean principles.

Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Regular presence on the production floor is required.

Manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Shift work and additional hours may be required.
