Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage day-to-day production operations for women’s fashion garments. The role involves ensuring product quality, maintaining production targets, managing line efficiency, coordinating with quality, cutting, and finishing departments, and ensuring smooth workflow from sampling to final output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the stitching and finishing lines for women’s fashion garments (woven/knits).
• Ensure daily production targets and delivery timelines are met.
• Monitor workers’ performance, discipline, and efficiency on the production floor.
• Coordinate with the Cutting, Sampling, QC, and Finishing departments to ensure smooth order execution.
• Review production plans and allocate manpower and machinery accordingly.
• Check in-line and end-line quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, machine issues, or manpower shortages.
• Maintain records of daily production, wastage, and rework.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and hygiene standards.
• Assist in training and developing line supervisors, tailors, and helpers to improve efficiency.
• Communicate with the merchandising team regarding production updates or issues.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in relevant field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in woven Pret category , preferably in women’s fashion apparel eastern wear
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching techniques, and production planning.
• Ability to handle multiple production lines efficiently.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Hands-on experience in managing operators and achieving production targets.
• Understanding of quality standards and workflow optimization.

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience in fast fashion oriented women’s eastern wear brands
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
