The Center on International Cooperation (CIC) at New York University seeks a Program Officer (Researcher) to independently produce research at a high-quality level under supervision of the Program Director, Justice, Inclusion and Equality or senior program staff. The Program Officer, under the guidance of the Program Director, takes a lead role in the development and drafting of reports, fact sheets, project proposals and other written publications. The Program Officer is also able to develop programmatic objectives and strategies; manage various, discrete aspects of program development and implementation, problem solve, maintain knowledge-based research networks and contacts, and identify new frontiers of knowledge and funding sources. The Program Officer is able to conceive high level, innovative approaches to engage stakeholders, in particular governmental representatives, and independently put together high-level events and manage workflows.
Responsibilities
The Program Officer reports to the Program Director, Justice, Inclusion and Equality and keeps them closely informed of efforts and progress.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $93,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
