Job Title: Project Coordinator – GIS (Mid-Level)

Job Summary

We are looking for a mid-level Project Coordinator – GIS who will help plan, track, and deliver GIS projects. The role involves working closely with GIS engineers, developers, and clients, especially on projects related to point clouds, LiDAR data, and 3D models.

The ideal candidate understands GIS workflows, can coordinate technical teams, and ensures projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate GIS projects from planning to delivery
• Work with teams handling point cloud data, LiDAR, and 3D models
• Track project timelines, tasks, and milestones
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and clients
• Help manage project requirements, risks, and changes
• Ensure data quality and proper documentation
• Support testing, validation, and final project delivery
• Maintain clear records, reports, and progress updates

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in GIS or geospatial projects
• Hands-on experience with point clouds, LiDAR, or 3D models
• Understanding of GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Potree, Cesium, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of spatial data formats (LAS/LAZ, GeoTIFF, SHP, etc.)
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Experience working with technical teams (GIS, developers, analysts)
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills

Nice to Have (Preferred)

• Experience with 3D visualization or web-based GIS
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, S3)
• Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana)
• Understanding of GIS workflows for mapping, analysis, and visualization

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Computer Science, or related field
