Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute monthly peer support group sessions from start to finish.
  • Coordinate logistics, venues, facilitators, and participant outreach.
  • Work closely with the supporting team to ensure smooth on-ground implementation.
  • Collect session feedback and impact data, and report outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of peer support activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in project coordination, community programs, or NGO work.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and fieldwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passionate about community engagement and peer support.

Preference:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Community Development, or a related field.
  • Experience working with diabetes, health awareness programs, or peer support initiatives.
  • Prior experience in organizing community events, workshops, or group sessions.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and reporting tools for program tracking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse communities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle logistics independently.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel to remote areas for field sessions.
  • Have type 1 diabetes or is closely related to someone living with type 1 diabetes.
