Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute monthly peer support group sessions from start to finish.
- Coordinate logistics, venues, facilitators, and participant outreach.
- Work closely with the supporting team to ensure smooth on-ground implementation.
- Collect session feedback and impact data, and report outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of peer support activities.
Requirements:
- Experience in project coordination, community programs, or NGO work.
- Strong organizational, communication, and fieldwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passionate about community engagement and peer support.
Preference:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Community Development, or a related field.
- Experience working with diabetes, health awareness programs, or peer support initiatives.
- Prior experience in organizing community events, workshops, or group sessions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and reporting tools for program tracking.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse communities.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle logistics independently.
- Comfortable with occasional travel to remote areas for field sessions.
- Have type 1 diabetes or is closely related to someone living with type 1 diabetes.
