Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage and coordinate interior fit-out projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing site execution, coordinating with subcontractors and consultants, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Assist in project planning, reporting, and progress tracking.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense).
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards.
• Coordinate with procurement team for timely material delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in construction or interior fit-out projects.
• UAE experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential fit-out projects preferred.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read construction drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination and fit-out works.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project execution.

Software Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
