Position: Project Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring interior fit-out works to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise interior fit-out projects from inception to completion.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Prepare project schedules, work programs, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to site.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings and quality standards.
• Prepare progress reports, site reports, and project updates for management.
• Manage project costs and assist in controlling budgets and variations.
• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.
• Support quantity surveying and commercial teams regarding project variations and claims.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Interior Fit-Out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and fit-out processes.
• Experience handling commercial, retail, hospitality, office, and residential fit-out projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, and project management software.
• Strong understanding of UAE building regulations and authority requirements.
• Excellent project planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
