Project Engineer - Civil Engineer

Project Management & Coordination

· Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction activities.

· Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, and work programs.

· Coordinate site activities to ensure timely project delivery.

· Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and risks.

Technical Management

· Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

· Coordinate and resolve technical and engineering issues during construction.

· Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.

· Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings and project requirements.

Planning & Progress Monitoring

· Track project progress against approved schedules.

· Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

· Coordinate with planning engineers regarding project updates and recovery plans.

· Monitor productivity and resource utilization.

Cost Control & Contract Administration

· Assist in cost monitoring and budget control.

· Review subcontractor work progress and payment applications.

· Support preparation and evaluation of variation orders and claims.

· Monitor material procurement and delivery schedules.

Quality Assurance

· Ensure compliance with project quality standards and specifications.

· Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and clients.

· Monitor corrective actions for quality-related issues.

· Participate in testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Health, Safety & Environment

· Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and site safety regulations.

· Participate in safety inspections and meetings.

· Promote safe working practices among project teams and subcontractors.

Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain project records, correspondence, and technical documentation.

· Prepare meeting minutes, project reports, and status updates.

· Ensure proper filing and control of project documents..

Social Media & Brand Representation

· Participate in approved marketing and social media content, including short-form videos and behind-the-scenes project features.

· Coordinate with Marketing to support content showcasing projects, design concepts, site progress, and design processes.

· Represent the company professionally across all digital content in line with brand guidelines and corporate standards.

· Contribute ideas that highlight design expertise, innovation, and project storytelling.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience

· 5- 8 years of experience in architectural design and project delivery.

· Strong experience in high-end Commercial & Residential project within the UAE.

· Experience in client-facing roles and leading design presentations.

· Strong understanding of UAE authority regulations and submission processes.

· Valid ADM Engineer Classification/Approval.

· Familiarity with QA/QC and HSE requirements.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Education and Certification Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer

Job Specific Technical Skills

· Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices and regulations.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Primavera P6/MS Project.

· Excellent communication and coordination skills.

· Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.

· UAE Driving License.

· Experience on commercial, mixed-use, office, retail, or high-rise projects.

· Knowledge of local authority approval procedures and inspection process

Pay: From AED10,000.00 per month
