Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of a Projects Lead

As a Projects Lead, you will lead the planning and execution of technical projects related to new equipment installation, infrastructure improvement and modification of the existing ones while upholding quality and HSE standards. Ensure the preservation of current buildings by implementing a robust maintenance plan. Act as the civil lead/expert for all projects related to civil infrastructure at the factory site.

Things you will be doing as a Projects Lead

• Effectively manage the department’s Capex expenditure within the agreed budget and timelines for all projects - Ensuring proper phasing (Spent and Capitalization) as per plan
• Facilitate the successful delivery of all Capex and Revex projects related to civil infrastructure
• Assist in structural modifications, preparation of BOQs and layout, ensuring quality and on-time execution
• Support the team in preparation and updating civil layouts and As-Built Drawings as and when required
• Maintain a professional and well-motivated team, ensuring appropriate training and development to ensure succession for all key positions.
• Lead the development of onsite civil contractors through active engagement, training, evaluation and feedback as well as inspire them to willingly perform at their best
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, consulting agencies and Government institutions to ensure smooth & high-quality delivery of services
• Work with local direct procurement ensuring the selection of equipment suppliers
• Bring out clear, innovative and out of the box ideas to continuously improve service levels and projects in the department
• Bring improvements in health & safety within the relevant domains to close the gap to zero
• Improve safety standards of work-at-height equipment for safe working

What are we looking for in you?

• A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of experience in the Food/Pharma/CPG company
• Knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety, Processing & Factory Operations skills, personnel administration and its governing laws
• Knowledge of civil construction, structural analysis, Health & Safety standards including knowledge of all equipment & tools for construction.
• Proficiency in the use of CAD & Structural analysis software
• Project management skills
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Self-driven & motivated
