Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager who can identify and evaluate profitable business opportunities in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing feasibility reports, proposing viable projects to management, and ensuring these projects are financially sound, marketable, and aligned with company growth objectives. The role demands strong commercial acumen, construction industry knowledge, and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Opportunity Identification

  • Continuously monitor market trends and construction industry developments to identify potential profitable projects.
  • Conduct research to pinpoint new business opportunities in real estate, infrastructure, and commercial construction.

2. Feasibility & Proposal Development

  • Prepare detailed feasibility studies, including cost estimates, ROI analysis, risk assessment, and timelines.
  • Present proposals and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
  • Evaluate project viability based on market demand, budget constraints, and potential profitability.

3. Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, budget, resources, and timelines.
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

4. Financial Impact & Cost Control

  • Prepare financial projections, cash flow forecasts, and profitability analyses.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Track expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

5. Sales & Marketing of Projects

  • Design and implement sales strategies to maximize project revenue.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for advertising, branding, and promotional campaigns.
  • Engage with clients, investors, and stakeholders to generate sales and secure project funding.

6. Reporting & Compliance

  • Provide regular project progress reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all project stages.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business acumen with a proven record of identifying profitable opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical skills for feasibility and financial assessments.
  • Knowledge of construction project management tools, methods, and best practices.
  • Strong negotiation, sales, and marketing skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in construction project management or business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects with positive financial outcomes.

  • Number of viable business opportunities identified.
  • Quality and accuracy of feasibility reports.
  • Project profitability and ROI.
  • Timely project completion within budget.
  • Sales revenue generated from projects.
