Project Manager

Position Summary:

The Harbor Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of marine infrastructure projects, including breakwaters, quay walls, and boat ramps. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in coastal and marine construction, and proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of harbor and marine infrastructure projects.
• Manage construction activities related to breakwaters, quay walls, revetments, jetties, slipways, and boat ramps.
• Supervise project engineers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, progress reports, and cost control systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and government authorities for project approvals and inspections.
• Ensure all works comply with HSE standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
• Oversee procurement planning, material approvals, and logistics related to marine works.
• Identify project risks, propose mitigation measures, and resolve site and contractual issues.
• Lead project meetings and prepare technical and financial progress reports.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, contract obligations, and performance targets.

Qualifications & Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial position within marine or harbor projects.
• Proven track record in the construction and management of breakwaters, quay walls, and boat ramps.
• Strong understanding of marine geotechnics, concrete works, and coastal protection systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office applications.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Pay: RO1,000.000 - RO1,400.000 per month
