Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and performance-driven Project Manager – MEP to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The role requires full ownership of project scope, cost, time, quality, safety, and stakeholder management to ensure completion in accordance with contractual obligations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Lead end-to-end MEP project lifecycle from initiation to handover.

Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource strategies.

Ensure compliance with contractual scope, specifications, and approved budgets.

Monitor and control project timelines using Primavera / MS Project.

Coordinate with civil, architectural, structural, and external stakeholders.

Technical & Operational Oversight

Oversee installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, ELV, and utility systems.

Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.

Ensure compliance with international standards such as ASHRAE, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

Supervise testing & commissioning and final system handover.

Financial & Commercial Management

Prepare and manage project budgets and cash flow forecasts.

Monitor cost control, variations, and claims.

Review subcontractor contracts and performance.

Ensure timely billing and certification processes.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead multidisciplinary MEP teams and subcontractors.

Conduct regular coordination meetings with clients and consultants.

Report project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management.

Ensure high standards of client satisfaction and relationship management.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Enforce QA/QC standards and procedures.

Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and regulatory requirements.

Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

12–18 years of experience in MEP projects, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role.

Proven track record of delivering large-scale commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems integration and construction methodologies.

Proficiency in project management and planning tools.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
