Project Manager

The Project Manager will lead EPC, turnkey HV Systems projects (onshore and/or offshore), covering Design, Supply, Construction (including civil works), Electro-Mechanical Installation, and Testing & Commissioning activities. The role requires coordination and management of all functional areas—including Engineering, Onshore Project Management, Cost Control & Planning, Finance, EHS, Quality, Construction, and Contracts Management—to ensure project execution aligns with company processes and procedures.
The Project Manager will manage customer and subcontractor relationships in accordance with contractual requirements, company objectives, compliance policies, and project priorities as defined by the Project Director. The role includes tracking and delivering financial targets such as revenue, cash flow, invoicing, and margin improvement in close coordination with Finance and other relevant functions.

The Project Manager is expected to efficiently utilize project management and reporting tools in line with PMO standards and the expectations of the Project Director and Operation Leader.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary accountable stakeholder for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring execution within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from handover through Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC), including identification of additional business opportunities and margin optimization
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent project reporting and documentation
  • Own and drive all project management activities and full scope delivery
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure achievement of project milestones
  • Lead initiatives to improve project profitability and cost efficiency
  • Ensure project quality management in line with contractual requirements, international standards, and defined scope
  • Ensure project financial management in compliance with financial instructions, including preparation and follow-up of cash flow, sales, invoicing, CCM, and margin plans
  • Optimize resource utilization and manage project workload efficiently within GE
  • Support contract settlements and claims, perform root cause analysis, and promote continuous improvement
  • Actively implement and monitor EHS plans and represent the company in all EHS-related matters
  • Identify and manage all internal and external stakeholders to align expectations and achieve win-win outcomes
  • Implement and monitor project risk management plans, tracking risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee communication and interface management, ensuring stakeholders receive timely and accurate updates
  • Manage project cost and financial performance by tracking KPIs, interpreting financial reports, and ensuring optimal resource usage
  • Ensure clear scope definition and coordination across all stakeholders and functions
  • Track all project activities required for deliverables and proactively manage claims
  • Validate delivery models, commitments, and risks & opportunities during tender reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall experience working on small to medium-sized projects
  • Cross-functional management experience in logistics, sourcing, engineering, or field services
  • Hands-on experience in turnkey EPC projects, including civil works
  • Experience working in international, multidisciplinary project environments
  • Willingness to travel globally for short to medium durations
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Residence in Ankara is mandatory
