As a member of the Ryan Platform Program Management team, this position is a critical contributor to ambitious strategic initiatives with the goal of re-envisioning a broad suite of enterprise level applications. The Project Manager, Program Management will manage internal and external software division projects to completion, including defining project scope, tasks, project teams, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; also prepares and reviews deliverables in connection with project delivery. The Project Manager is the link between multiple functional and operational teams within the Platform team such as software and product development, quality assurance testing, implementation, support, as well as any other internal stakeholders at Ryan.

Develops workplans and resource assignments associated with project deliverables.

Coordinates internal resources to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deliverables, deadlines, and schedules.

Measures project performance, monitors progress, and adjusts as needed.

Prepares and distributes project status reports for all stakeholders by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant project information.

Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects.

Creates, maintains, and executes communication plans and communication protocols.

Creates, maintains, and executes change management policies including project escalation and remediation.

Creates and maintains master project resource contact lists for the delivery team and our client team to utilize as necessary.

Defines project success criteria and creates the metrics to enable them to be measured.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience as a program or project manager in a technical/software development field, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services

Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC, Agile, etc.) including knowledge of project estimation techniques.

Detail-oriented
Computer Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver’s license required.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position can include leading or managing a small team, directly or indirectly.
Work Environment:

Standard indoor working environment.

Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.

Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the firm as well as interaction with external vendors and clients as necessary.

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
