Job Overview:

A leading property development and real estate company in Karachi is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee multiple property development projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of experience in managing large-scale residential or commercial developments, with strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, execution, and stakeholder management. This position requires a professional who can ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to high-quality construction and design standards while maintaining alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end management of property development projects — from initial planning and design to final delivery.
  • Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Monitor on-site progress and ensure strict adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and progress reports.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising on quality.
  • Ensure all project expenses remain within approved financial limits.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to maintain construction excellence.
  • Review and approve design drawings, materials, and contractor deliverables.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to facilitate approvals and project execution.
  • Provide timely project progress reports and presentations to senior management and investors.
  • Resolve project challenges and site issues promptly to prevent delays.

Team Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead and mentor project engineers, site supervisors, and technical teams.
  • Set performance objectives, monitor progress, and ensure accountability across all project phases.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining milestones, risks, and overall project performance.

Key Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or PMP certification will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 8–12 years of experience in property development or construction project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects in Pakistan.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction planning, cost estimation, and project scheduling tools (Primavera / MS Project).
  • Sound knowledge of local building regulations, safety standards, and compliance frameworks.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs500,000.00 per month
