Role

In order to perform the product and production processes of Ford Otosan and Other International Automotive factories within the efficiency and quality targets as soon as possible, to receive the request and purchase order for the required stamping dies and other tools, to ensure coordination between the teams within the department and customers in order to design and manufacture tools and dies; to carry out the sales and deliveries of the dies or tools when the production is completed, to manage all the measurement processes during both the production and sales of the tools (reporting dimensional and visual quality problems to the customer and related teams by making measurements of press sheet metal parts, dies and checking fixtures) and to manage all sales process.

In Ford Otosan's own projects, determining the suppliers for the dies that need to be outsourced and to be ensured their manufacturing at the program requested time, cost, efficiency & quality and managing the whole process until the delivery of these dies to customers.

Responsibilities

In projects under the responsibility of Project & Supplier Management team;

Managing or leading teams according to the project requirements

Preparing the time plans of the new die projects and regularly following up the project metrics according to requirements.

Following-up and inspect of the ordered works in accordance with the time schedule

Management of project finances and invoicing processes.

Payment follow-up according to the agreement

Carrying out the transportation and export organization of the completed tools by working in coordination with the relevant departments.

Organization of HLTO and management of tooling commissioning

Performing all commercial and technical relations with customers in every subject.

Engineering change management during new vehicle program for customers.

Ensure coordination between product development, engineering and manufacturing departments, suppliers & customers.

Lead the sheet metal supply process and provide material for tool try-out on time.

In Ford Otosan's own projects:

International die supplier management for new programs by considering vehicle program timing/milestones.

Timing & cost/budget management to support vehicle program timings & catch new program financial targets.

Engineering change management during new vehicle program with vendors for outsourced dies.

At execution phase of the project, publishing periodic status report.

To ensure the coordination between suppliers and related technical teams.

Lead the sheet metal supply process and to ensure toolmaker provide material for tool try-out on time.

Qualifications

Min. 1.5 years of experience in Automotive and Sheet Metal Industry

Sc / MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial engineering, Manufacturing engineering or Metallurgy and Material Engineering.

Advanced English language skills (verbal / written)

Knowledge and proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project

Having communication and coordination skills required for project management

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

No restriction in travelling.

Having a driver's license
