PSD Engineer - UAE National
Based on permanent night shift, the purpose of this position is to supervise and lead a number of
line maintenance teams to provide effective engineering and maintenance services covering the
PSD system for the Dubai Metro.
key RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic
- Develop and implement PSD asset improvement programs.
- Act as designated competent person for PSD Systems expertise
- Support long-term asset maintenance and reliability
Financial
- Provide input on asset-related budgets and capital investment plans.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions to optimize PSD lifecycle value.
Stakeholder / Customer
- Collaborate closely with Engineering team to ensure alignment on asset performance objectives and improvement initiatives.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support technical investigations, change processes, and asset upgrades.
Operational
- Conduct technical investigations and ensure timely closure of actions.
- Analyse asset performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Manage activation of asset change processes and act as sponsor for PSD & Other systems.
- Drive continuous improvements aligned to FRACAS and Failure Review Boards (FRB).
- Support predictive analysis, RAMS reporting, and ISO55001 compliance.
- Perform and carry out ad-hoc analysis and other duties as instructed/directed/agreed with the PSD Manager, Head of maintenance, Head of Engineering, or the E&M Director.

- Support training and knowledge transfer initiatives.

Education
Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Equivalent.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 to 2.5 years of experience as a system Engineer (Platform Screen Doors)
- A minimum of 2 to 2.5 years of experience of stakeholder management
- Demonstrated experience of maintenance development and asset plans
- Knowledge and application of RAMS, FRB, Change Management, Projects and assurance
- Experience of Complex technical problems
