The Opportunity

Responsibilities of this career opportunity includes supporting and coordinating behavioral health care services; monitoring patients' medication usage and results; documenting patients' medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes; evaluating and reporting patients' behavior, assessing patients' mental and physical status based on the presenting symptoms and complaints; educating patients and family members about mental health and medical conditions, preventive health measures, medications, or treatment plans; Writing prescriptions for psychotropic medications in scope of practice; Collaborating with medical director, primary care provider, and staff to develop, implement, or evaluate treatment plans; developing and implementing treatment plans; performing other duties as assigned.

This career opportunity requires:

• Graduate degree in psychiatric nursing and certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Must be a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner eligible to practice in the State of Montana.
• Two (2) years’ experience providing psychiatric nurse practitioner services preferred.
