Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Part Time - Remote (Must reside in WA state)

We are looking for a highly motivated, autonomous, and client-focused psychiatric nurse practitioner with a passion for helping people recover from mental illness from a holistic-centered, integrative approach. We are a clinician-owned, integrative telepsychiatry practice. We work closely with clients to holistically address the underlying factors affecting their mental health so that they can achieve more sustainable results. We desire a candidate with a passion for holistic psychiatric care who utilizes best practices in medication management and psychotherapy to improve patient outcomes (Must be comfortable conducting psychotherapy).

NP pay is based on productivity and is $110 for initial visits and $75 - $95 for follow-up visits depending on the length and complexity of visits. Initial visits are 1 hour, and follow-up visits are 30 - 45 minutes. A highly productive practitioner has the potential to make up to $150/hour!

Responsibilities:

· Treat adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, & PTSD. Screen for higher level acute cases and refer out to appropriate community resources.

· Order and interpret diagnostic labs and review patient medical records as appropriate.

· Obtain written consent for treatment.

· Conduct initial assessments and follow-up visits, using APA’s DSM-5 criteria for appropriate diagnosing, and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.

· Be familiar with ICD-10 codes and billing codes associated with patient encounters.

· Psychiatric nurse practitioners are expected to provide psychotherapy in addition to medication management.

Qualifications:

· At least 2 years post-graduate experience working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner (Preferred).

· Currently licensed in Washington state (Multistate licenses highly preferred!)

· Experience working in inpatient psychiatry or outpatient/private practice psychiatry.

· At least 1 year experience in performing psychotherapy utilizing relevant psychiatric theoretical approaches (Preferred). Psych NPs must be comfortable performing psychotherapy in addition to medication management.

· Desire and passion for integrative psychiatry.

· Experience with the following EHR platforms: Kareo/Tebra – preferred.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Tech savvy and an independent learner

· Must have own computer and quiet, private space to conduct telepsychiatry appointments.

Education & licenses required for this role:

· Completed an accredited PMHNP program with a national certification.

· ANCC Board Certification Required

· Valid Washington state DEA certification in good standing with all schedules to prescribe.

· Must have own malpractice insurance

· CAQH mist be up-to-date
