Objectives:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships between an organization and the public, government agencies, and other relevant bodies. The role involves ensuring that the organization complies with all legal and regulatory requirements related to its operations. Liaises between the company and various government departments, handing time consuming, bureaucratic procedures such as securing visas, licences and permits. Usually handle the legal paperwork and documentation of a company and help in business approvals, employee and employer visa services, implementation of government mandates, and license renewal.
General responsibilities:
Process, submits and follow up all the company official relations/ transactions with the government sectors.
(1)
Submitting all renewals of visas & labor work permit cards with labor office as well as the immigration department.
(2)
Processing all renewals of driving license & labor health cards with traffic office as well as the health department.
(3)
Renewals of official documents of the company (i.e. trade license, chamber of commerce, CR, traffic department, municipality, customs clearance etc.);
(4)
To liaise with authorities to ensure Company compliance to local laws and regulations.
(5)
To process local amendments in coordination with the authorities.
(6)
To deal with government authorities in relation to the buying, selling or leasing of land/property.
(7)
To process trade license renewals.
(8)
To keep updated on labour related changes in relation to visa processing.
(9)
Supporting any legal issues in Company registrations
(10)
Liaise with all government institution with regards fines, penalties or any inquiry;
(11)
Act as a liaison between the organization and government authorities, ensuring that all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals are obtained and maintained.
(12)
Assist employees with visa and immigration processes, including renewals and extensions, to ensure compliance with Qatar's immigration laws.
(13)
Maintain and update records related to employees, permits, and other legal documents as required by Qatari authorities.
(14)
Manage and enhance the organization's reputation by handling communication with the public and other stakeholders. This includes issuing responding to inquiries.
(15)
Provide translation and interpretation services as needed, especially for official documents.
(16)
Stay up-to-date with changes in Qatari laws and regulations that may affect the organization and ensure compliance in all aspects of the business.
