Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in purchase coordination, accounts, or inventory management

Job Summary

The Purchase Assistant (Accounts) will be responsible for supporting the purchase and accounting operations by handling vendor coordination, purchase documentation, bill verification, and maintaining accurate records of goods and services procured. The role ensures timely and cost-effective purchasing in line with company policies and accounting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in raising purchase orders (POs) and maintain proper records in coordination with the Accounts and Procurement team.
  • Verify purchase bills, invoices, and supporting documents before submission for payment.
  • Maintain an updated vendor list, collect quotations, and support vendor selection based on quality and price.
  • Track material receipt, stock entries, and pending deliveries.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, stores, and accounts department for smooth order processing and payment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and purchase procedures.
  • Proficiency in Tally / ERP / MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Attention to detail with accuracy in data entry and document verification.
  • Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
